Received this intriguing note from Dr. Micah Tillman:

In hopes of drawing more students to the study of philosophy, while showing philosophy’s relevance to real life, I have created the Top 40 Philosophy podcast. Each episode will examine a hit pop, rock, rap, or country song, introducing listeners both to philosophical methodology and to the great concepts and thinkers of the tradition.
Our first episode — on the philosophical ramifications of “I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll,” by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts — has just been released.
